I’m a woodland family photographer based in Bath, welcoming families from Bath and Bristol who want playful, child-led sessions where young children can explore the woods and simply be themselves.

My weekend morning sessions are designed with young children in mind. I photograph only a small number of families each month so every session feels calm, personal and unhurried. These sessions are designed for one family at a time, giving children the freedom to explore and parents the space to relax together. In calm woodland spaces, little ones can explore, climb, run and play while I gently guide the moments that unfold.

Because the best photographs happen when children are free to be themselves — and parents can simply enjoy being together.

Honestly… that’s completely normal.

Most of the children I photograph are busy exploring, climbing logs, collecting sticks or running through the trees. They don’t need to sit still or perform for the camera.

My sessions are designed around how young children naturally behave outdoors. We play, walk, explore and pause for little moments of connection along the way.

Sometimes the best photographs happen in the middle of the chaos — a burst of laughter, muddy knees, a spontaneous cuddle.

You don’t need perfect behaviour.

Children are naturally curious and full of energy. I build sessions around movement and play — which means real smiles, real laughter and zero forced grins.
