beautiful start to the day with a large christian wedding at one of my local churches, St Stephen’s Church just over in Crystal Palace. The light in this church was just stunning! 

Following the ceremony, the couple brought all their friends and family on a big red bus to the gorgeous Edwardian grade II listed Art’s centre, Stanley Halls. It’s literally on my doorstep and this venue is definitely a hidden gem. The building has a long standing history of theatre and performance. It’s also part of the local school, so it’s a fantastic venue to use if you are looking for a community focused wedding venue to have your wedding make a difference.

I couldn’t recommend Stanley Halls enough as a unique, character packed wedding venue in South London. For a place of such history, the staff are so flexible allowing external caterers, opening up options for seasonal menus or vegan options. They also have so many spaces for guests to explore, as well as two bars and a proper stage for live bands! Bonbon Parade, is also on site, she’s a fantastic specialist baker, making natural wedding cakes, suitable for those with allergies or intolerances.
